blueys getaway was the perfect holiday home for families and the beloved dog. our stay was enjoyed by both my husband, me and our two king charles cavaliers for eight nights. we loved the convenience to shops, beach and good quality eateries when cooking was not on the agenda. we had visitors over the weekend of our stay who walked down to the motel a few hundred meters away for their two nights. we really appreciated the dog friendliness of the home both inside and out. decor was very tasteful and beachie plus the linen provided was sheridan, great quality! we loved our stay and will definitly return for another relaxing week soon. we also could park our boat undercover when not in use, a real added bonus."

"Accommodation and location were great! The house catered for all our needs. House is child friendly and pet friendly. Everything (beaches, bakery, corner store, chemist, Huey's pizza, liquor store, coffee places) is within a short walking distance. Great coffee from Jenz just up the road and Huey's across the road. The house is across the road from the information centre. The beaches are beautiful and the area itself lovely. We had a great weekend at Bluey's Getaway and would recommend it!

"It was a good break for us. We walked round the suburb with our dog in the morning and evening. During the day, we just lazed around in the house, reading a book or watching a DVD.

Our dog and toddler loved to view the world go by at the window behind the day bed.

The kitchen has the necessary crockery and cutlery for cooking. We cooked on our first night and at Huey's at Blueys pizza on the 2nd night. It was yum!!!

We went to the Elizabeth beach with our toddler. The Blueys Beach and Sandbar beach have big currents. We went there but didn't let our toddler play in the sand.

It was good that our dog was allowed inside the house. He slept contendedly at night on his bed in the laundry.

This is definitely a place that we will consider staying at again or recommending to our friends."

"My husband & I had wonderfully relaxing week at Blueys Getaway. The house is very comfortable & catered for all of our needs (& the needs of our two little dogs). Unlike many other so called "dog friendly" places, the fencing was more than adequate to aleviate our worry about them escaping. I have no hesitation in recommending Blueys Getaway to our friends & family & we will most certainly be back for another stay.
