Four Mile Creek, Tasmania
Incredibly beautiful, peaceful holiday accommodation for hire on the East Coast of Tasmania.
Blue Gum Lodge is set within 100 acres of private forest surrounded by the East Coast hinterlands with a wonderful view of the sea directly below the house
"The best thing about our stay was how utterly secluded we felt even though it was just a 7 min drive to St Mary's township. A beautiful house with beautiful surroundings, totally relaxed in front of the gorgeous tassie barrel fire place. Breathtaking views greeting us every morning. Will definately be back!!!!

"Excellent large bed - 7'6" x 6'3"
Enjoyed the peace and isolation.
In comparison to 4 other self-contained houses/cottages we stayed in during 3 weeks in Tasmania Blue Gum Lodge was the most expensive and provided nothing in the way of breakfast compared to other cheaper and more upmarket places."

"We really really loved it there! We stayed a few places in Tas and blue gum was by far the best, loved that there was no tele reception, great board game selection, great dvd's, lovely bush (ofcourse!) and I'm sure the driveway will be a treat! (but it didn't bother me)
All round absolutely loved it, the bedroom view magnificent too. Would highly recommend it to anyone who asked
Thanks again!

"We had a great stay - the place was exactly what we were after and we found it to be everything we hoped.
Sharyn did a great job - she had set the cot up with everything - it made us feel so welcome!
We look forward to returning and have already started telling everyone what a spectacular place we stayed in.
Many Thanks,
"

"Great holiday house, clean, cosy very comfortable. Just 20 minutes to Scamander, which has a fantastic monitored beach. Great grounds to explore, we did loads of walks with our 2 year old. Loved the views of the ocean and bushland. "

"My family and myself had a wonderful time at Blue Gum lodge. With 4 children aged from 5 to 16years, Blue Gum Lodge was the perfect get away.
We explored near and far, all along the East Coast.
The children loved Bay of fires, but I think my favourite was playing hide and seek with the children in the wonderful private bushland of Blue Gum Lodge!!
Once again thankyou for sharing Blue Gum Lodge. We will definately return.

"Excellent privacy and isolation in a woodland setting with a nice view of the ocean (ocean not accessible from property however). Good for light hiking around the property/acreage, birdwatching and viewing pandemelons, which are abundant. Nice and spacious accommodation - woodstove a nice touch for cool evenings. Forty-five minute drive to Bicheno and about an hour to Freychinet National Park. Good for couple or family looking for a semi-wilderness experience. A caretaker is accessible and available on a phone that is provided. Owners (who live on the mainland) provided excellent background material on the property and area and overall were very professional."
