The two cottages were built and decorated with a stylish rustic nautical theme. They offer generous modern open plan living in complete privacy with all the creature comforts and some very special touches thrown in.

The Crew’s Cottage is able to accommodate children and dogs (conditions apply); it is ideal for small families and groups up to four people. With a fully self-contained kitchen, dining, lounge, laundry and private outdoor BBQ area in a spacious garden setting, it is designed to be suitable for longer stays. Split system air-conditioning, ceiling fans and a wood fire allow for comfort all year, in any weather. Extensive facilities for baby are provided at no extra charge and many features have been installed for your peace of mind, for example the safety gate on the stairs.

The Captain’s Cabin is perfect for two and is a luxurious romantic retreat. It features an indoor spa and is completely separate in every way from the other cottage. With kitchenette, dining, lounge and private outdoor BBQ area in it’s own garden setting, as well as split system air conditioning and ceiling fans, many couples don’t emerge for days on end!

The ‘Breakfast Basket’ includes ample goodies including cereal, milk, eggs, bacon, tea, coffee and sugar as well as local produce such as fresh bread, condiments and juice. Guests enjoy their breakfast how they want it, when they want it and in private.

After a languid dip in a low tide lagoon, you can meander endlessly peering into the colorful rock pools, stroll along the rugged cliff tops admiring the brilliant views of Bass Strait or perhaps just lay on a pristine beach and be soothed by the magical whisper of the waves… For the adventurous, the more challenging coastal walking tracks stretch 27 kms from the famous, and recently controversial, Point Nepean at Portsea to the lighthouse at Cape Schanck. Small groups of international hikers have begun to use Hidden Treasure as a overnight stay – access and the anticipation of well deserved luxury make it an ideal stopover. The rest of us just need the hand drawn 'treasure map' of favourite local walks and special spots, to help us find our way home again.

At Hidden Treasure you can fall asleep to the sound of the ocean nearby and wake to the peaceful birdsong. You’ll find that your breakfast basket generously includes everything you need to enjoy it as you like, when you want, without being invaded by your hosts. Annie and Graham Angliss know that their guests just want to relax in privacy and quiet, because that’s what they love about this amazing place too and they are happy to oblige. They’ve lost count of the number of times guests have commented in the ‘Ship’s Log’ that beyond the haven of the cottages themselves and their extraordinary location, it’s ‘the little extra things’ that make the ‘discovery’ so wonderful.

The Crew's Cottage accommodates four people and can cater for a variety of configurations. The master bedroom has a QS bed and the second upstairs bedroom has one set of bunks. Also available are one sofa bed, one fold up single bed and one portacot.
The Captain's Cabin has one QS bed.
All bedding and linen is supplied at no cost. Stays of over 7 nights will be offered a complimentary linen change approximately every 4 days.
