"we found accommodation comfortable, however we found the property to be quite neglected. several wood 'piles' were not attractive and a once garden was very overgrown. great setting but could have been so much nicer, however rates probably accommodated conditions. good value for rates paid. we enjoyed our stay and will stay again when next in the area."

"We enjoyed our stay immensely due to the fact that it was clean, comfortable and the fire made it very cosy. When we arrived, fresh flowers on the table greeted us and the bottle of champagne was an added bonus.
The view was wonderful and the house comfortable. We intend to return soon."

"We loved the cottage but the costing for extra guests above one couple was unclear. I did not expect to have to pay for other guests. I booked because it accomodated 6 folk and thought the money asked would cover that number.
Otherwise very pleasant!"

"The cottage was very well appointed, but not as clean as some other places we have stayed for the same rate. The main thing against the cottage is that we can't understand the owners have invested in all the appliances when the building itself is in such a poor state - in our view it would have been better to knock it down and start again. Also, we would have expected a comment about the road - we were glad we were in a four wheel drive vehicle - if there had been a lot of rain, I don't know how we would have managed with our other, basic (not 4W drive) vehicle. In addition to this, the descent to the cottage would present problems to elderly people and people with disabilities, as you have to take all your belongings from the top of the driveway down into the cottage, this presents problems, especially when you are arriving at night - again, this should be mentioned. "

"The house was simple but surprisingly the bins, sink and fridge were dirty. The third bedroom was separate from the rest of the house. The neighbour's dog was an annoyance for our little children playing in the garden. There was a lot of noise from the local caravan park located downhill from the property."

"View cottage is such a cosy place. It was so clean and nicely furnished. Everything we could possibly need was there. The view from the balcony was lovely and we enjoyed the 5 cockatoos and 2 magpies and 2 kookaburras that came to visit us!!! Highly recommend this lovely place, great value!"

"The cottage was very sweet; well-appointed, with everything for a very comfortable stay. A neat kitchen with all the necessary equipment and some appreciated extras. Plenty of wood for the deliciously warm wood heater. Beds were very comfortable and the electric blankets were very necessary! The bird-life at View Cottage is fantastic. With care, you can hand-feed kookaburras, currawongs and magpies, be visited by sulphur-crested cockatoos and white-winged choughs. The kids were delighted. It was a great-value holiday in a lovely bush location that the whole family enjoyed immensely - they're already begging to go back!"
