Holiday house

Season of Mists accommodation at Blackheath is a cut above all others. The Main cottage nestles in front of the panoramic view and comprises a cosy bedroom with built-ins, a luxurious bathroom with a huge spa bath, heated floor and towel racks, piped music throughout the house, bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen is French Provincial styled whilst the large living area is equipped with reverse cycled air conditioning, wood combustion heater,digital TV, DVD, stereo and lots of books and comfy stylish sofas, ottomans and chairs. The separate studio has a kitchen, bathroom, combustion heater, large sunny deck overlooking the Kanimbla Valley and a very comfy double bed spring mattress sofa bed, lounge and armchairs fit for a perfect retreat. Polished timber floors, Persian rugs and a cosy fire make a perfect setting for a relaxing getaway in stylish surroundings. This elegant accommodation is perfect for one couple or 2 if the studio option is used.

Locality

Blackheath is the highest point in the Blue mountains. There are two excellent golf courses, horse riding, popular bush walks for all levels, hang-gliding, rock climbing and abseiling. The popular rhododendron garden festival is held every November, complete with street parade and stalls. There are restaurants with varied cuisines to suit all budgets from Australian Gourmet Traveller award winners to laid back cafes and well stocked delis. The old Victory Theatre is home of the antique markets, a must for unrepentent browsers. Jenolan Caves is 45 minutes away and the wine reions of Orange, Mudgee and Cowra begin about 90 minutes away. Closer is the pretty gardens of Leura and the 3 Sisters at Katoomba.
