Nestled at the foot of the manificent escarpments of the Blue Mountains in the Kanimbla Valley, just 15 minutes from Blackheath village, is the historic settlers cottage which has been renovated to capture a feeling of the past, with all the comforts of today.
Enjoy the timeless surroundings of this stunning location with natures backdrop providing a never ending slideshow of changing light on the cliff faces and surrounds, plus abundant wildlife and the added serenity of horses grazing quietly in the adjoining paddocks.
The cottage is totally self contained and perfect for a couple, yet will sleep 4 people comfortably.Activities include horse riding sulky hire, local bush walks or trail walks.For the more adventurous, hang gliding or paragliding from Mt Blackheath above, allows you to land right next to your accomodation. Alternatively a favourite tipple on the verandah seems to be a particularly popular past time.Also the fine cafes and restaurants of the village await you, along with the renouned golf course, the arts and crafts of the area are an added bonus. Yet for some there will be no need to search for more stimulus than what is offered within the environment.
