Holiday house

This exclusive mountain retreat was originally built by writer and poet Barbara Blackman (whom was previously married to artist Charles Blackman) and her then partner Marcel Veldhoven as a nurturing escape.

Evolved from the land itself the home is hand built and integrates the tapestry of textures such as mud bricks, paddock rocks, local timber and unique temple like roofline makes Indooroopilly one of the most interesting and individual places in the area.

On the property there is a main house plus an additional cottage. The main house has recently been extensively renovated and now consists of 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, customised kitchen, lounge and dining. There is also an additional Auditorium within the main house that makes for a perfect alternative entertaining space, a kids getaway, or even a conference area.

Outside there is a great cubby house, kids swing set, trampoline and a fully fenced pool.

The cottage consists of 1 main bedroom 1 Loft bedroom with adjoining balcony.
