Ashrowan has 3 suites. 2 are separate from the main house. "The Gardener's Retreat" resembles a colonial cottage with french doors opening onto a private verandah where you can enjoy panoramic views.Cotton damask on queen bed. TV. CD and ensuite.

"The Tower" suite, reached by a short flight of stairs provides a romantic hideaway. Sweeping views over the valley. Crisp white bedlinen on queen bed.Bathroom has a large bath and a separate shower. TV. DVD. CD. and reverse cycle air conditioning.

"Grayswood' is a luxury suite with japanese soaktub and freestanding shower in the large bathroom that opens onto a private garden deck. TV. DVD. CD, reverse cycle air conditioning. Wonderful views. "Grayswood is available for weekend stays only, 2 or 3 nights.

The guest sitting room has a private entry,views over a sunny courtyard and the valley beyond and a woodfire. The main lounge is open to guests on weekends.

Full buffet and hearty country breakfast cooked at a time to suit you.

Locality

Berrima is acknowledged to be the best preserved "georgian" village in NSW. A small village in the picturesque southern highlands within 7 min drive to Bowral and close to all the other small highland villages. Many vineyards nearby,antique shops, galleries,great restaurants and gift and craft shops.Berrima has 'The Surveyor General", the oldest licensed pub in NSW.

The village has 2 stone churches, ideal for romantic weddings.

Property

Ashrowan Bed and Breakfast is found in the heart of historic Berrima, at the end of a quiet village street adjoining crown land that runs down to the Wingecarribee river. At Ashrowan you can choose to relax with a good book or newspaper in front of the fire. Sleep,or dream an afternoon away.
Enjoy the garden with its many maple trees and a pond popular with the ducks and birds that visit from the river.

Take a stroll along the riverbank and catch sight of platypus that play there at dawn and dusk.

A few minutes walk in the other direction takes you to the historic byways of the village with its shops, restaurants museums, galleries and pub.
Dine here in the evenings and stroll back home by moonlight.
