"Susan welcomed us warmly, showed us our room (the Tower room) and left us to unwind and relax. A beautifully comfortable bed, rubber duckie in the bath and a delicious breakfast the next morning before a walk by the river. Ours was a mid-week stay, our wedding day, and just what we needed at the end of a long and hectic day. Susan generously provided complimentary champagne, handmade local chocolates and arranged for delivery of flowers to our room (chosen by her to match the decor). We would definitely visit again. Full marks to Susan and Ashrowan!"
