Awake to the sound of native bushland and feast on the glorious view from your sun-kissed terrace. The terrace looks out on a small sandy shore caresseed by gentle waves. Out in the open waterboats gracefully bob upon the shimmering turquoise water. Perfumed by the rich smell of eucalyptus and the faint salty breeze of the Hawkesbury ,Amaroo Lodge is a delighting experience for all the senses.
Accessible only by boat, Amaroo Lodge is located in a secluded corner of Berowra creek. Enjoy the quality and comfort of the Queen Bedrooms, Gourmet Kitchen, Gas BBQ and air conditioning.
Just a short fifty five min. drive from the Sydney CBD in the eternal northern bushland. Amaroo Lodge is the ideal place for a romantic weekend getaway.

Good quality,old fashioned comfort in breathtaking surroundings.The privacy was wonderful and the hosts were kind and generous.definitely the perfect romatic getaway.

Locality

There are extensive walking tracks, including a section of the Great North Walk. Canoeing is popular on Berowra Creek from Crosslands Reserve. Scenic lookouts can be found at Barnetts Road Reserve and Galston Gorge.

There are several excellent restaurants within easy reach which include , Waterview Restaurant [Seafood smorgasbord ],Peats Bite Restaurant is only 15min away by boat. The Waterview Bistro at the nearby marina offers light meals including their speciality, fish & chips,great coffee, weekend breakfasts and, The 'Berowra Waters Inn' one of Sydney's top Restaurants open Friday to Sunday for that special event.
Canoe's can be hired from the marina also for either a half or full day to explore Berowra Creek. Good catches of tailor, bream,jewfish, whiting & flathead can be caught off the deck.

Water Taxi's are available or even a Sea plane can be arranged for charter from Amaroo Lodge
