Explore the nearby fort where massive cannons once protected Hobart's trading vessels.
Catch the water taxi to the Hobart CBD or Saturday's Salamanca Market. Take a 10 minute drive to an oyster-tasting or lunch at Barilla Bay Restaruant or a detour to wonderful Coal River Valley wineries and restaruants. Or stretch out at Bluff Lodge in front of a fire in the guests lounge, with a glass of port.
