"The house was a 50s style, cream brick home. Quite roomy with 4 bedrooms, clean, warm, comfortable. Tasteful in a retro sort of way, in keeping with the style of house. It was fantastic sitting at the front dinning table with the sun streaming in through the front window. Could do with a dishwasher! Service was very efficient and professionally run. They were very flexible with check in and check out times. No pressure!! It was a little pricy for the style of house, but great for us as it was our first holiday away with our dog. The kids loved it."

"This is our second holiday at Pelican's Rest. We've found it a great place with excellent facilities, comfortable bedding and very good quality fittings. It is also in a fantastic location, especially if you have kids or enjoy fishing. Being able to have our 4 legged friend with us is an added bonus. We'll be staying there again."

"We (7 of us) were very pleased with Pelican's Rest. The house is very comfortable and large enough for 7 people. There was adequate seating, bedding, well equipped kitchen, great access to the township and the beach and of course the Blues Train. Very well equipped but not such that it felt uncomfortable. We were all able to relax and we had a great time there. The booking and information, a lovely note from the owner with some extra information and map and easy payment system. We all agree we would love to go back again some time."
