Fernmark is unique in the Bega Valley. The idea for the guesthouse has been in the hosts dreams and thoughts since 1997, as they sat in a guesthouse overlooking the sea on the island of Lamu, Kenya.

As Hallie & Corinne both love travelling, they designed the Fernmark Inn with 5 exotically modelled theme rooms from different regions in the world they experienced together.

Because privacy is important to them, and knew it would be to their guests, each deluxe room is soundproofed, has its own ensuite and a private terrace.

*The Middle Eastern room with its beautiful domed ceiling and curved edges represents the domed palatial rooms in the Sinai desert on the edge of the Red Sea. QSB This room is child and dog friendly.

* The Thai room is designed in bamboo and hessian and includes Thai silk wall hangings. The feel is that of a regal bamboo bungalow. QSB

* The India room is patterned after a Maharaja’s guest room decorated with Indian silk sari material, Indian tiles and artefacts. QSB

* The Africa room is modelled on the feel of a majestic mud hut. Furniture is designed with old fence posts. KSB

You can choose where your fancy takes you without getting on a plane!!

Fernmark Inn Guesthouse includes a lounge area with tea/coffee facilities and homemade biscotti as well as a quieter library for reading or playing games. There is a kitchen for guest usage to make meals or snacks. Selection of breakfast cereals and milk are provided. BBQ and picnic area too! Optional breadfast and dinner meal hampers available prepared from predominantly local and home grown organic ingredients.

The 'Ocean' self-contained studio room which is made to feel like you are entering the underwater world. This room has kitchenette facilities, lounge area, private veranda.

While there you can take advantage of Fernmark’s energizing natural health treatments - including Reflexology, Reiki, Bowen and Massage. You'll be pampered at Fernmark!!

The region has the most beautiful secluded beaches as well as mountainous bush rich in both Aboriginal history and that of the early settlers.

We are 5 minutes from the Wadbilliga National Forest Park including the Brogo Dam where canoeing is available. Enjoy it all while touring the area. An easy 5 hours from Sydney and 7 hours from Melbourne.

Our 90 acres, 70 of which is bush, has walking trails throughout it. We have our own rainforest area as well as 2 acres of grape vines! Almost half of our land is part of a Voluntary Conservation Area.
Our veggie garden in permaculturally designed and we would be more than happy to show you around and explain our eco-based property.
