We called in for one night and stayed for five. Everything was wonderful, so peaceful. Let poets sing of English towns, their beauty and their splendour, give me a place thats better than all, Maple Grove in the hills of Yackandandah. Exceptional an oasis in a frantic world where time stands still for a moment when you wander through gardens made in heaven. Blissful tranquillity. Great quality, value, friendliness. Wonderful furnishings.

Locality

Centrally located,there is a saying in Yackandandah from the North East that all roads lead to Yackandandah. In fact if you get lost in this region,you,ll likely discover that the first signpost you see points the way to Yackandandah. Take advantage of the surroundings as Maple Grove is located only 500 metres from the historical town and a hearty meal at one of the local hotel or restaurants. Beechworth is a leisurely 15 min drive to excellent dining out with numerous fine restaurants, offering dining at its best. Millawa the Gourmets paradise is just 30 min. away. Rutherglen and its superb wineries is 45 min. drive. Take delight in visiting our neighbouring historical towns and ski fields, Mnt. Hotham, Falls Creek and Mnt. Buffalo. The area is serviced well with rail trails, museums, walking tracks, horse riding and abandoned goldfields. A must is to go underground and view the historic Karrs Reef Goldmine of Yackandandah.
