Cottage

Barkly Cottage consists of two bedrooms, a lounge, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and laundry. Spend a relaxing weekend lounging on the verandah watching ducks swimming in our fully fenced dam or stroll into town to enjoy Beechworth's antique stores, cafes and restaurants.

We have undercover and off road parking for cars and bikes.

Barkly Cottage is close to the Rail Trail, Historical Centre, Beechworth Gorge Scenic Walk, wineries, bush walks, Newtown Park tennis courts, Beechworh Gym.

'Thanks heaps for your assistance and such a lovely property you have. Bob and Marley (the sheep) were very accommodating towards the children and they enjoyed feeding them the hay, so thanks for leaving that out. Directions from Wangaratta: As you enter Beechworth continue along bridge road. Turn right into Victoria Street which is directly opposite an old red Post Office Box (corner of Bridge and Malakoff Roads). Follow dirt road to the end which will take you directly into the driveway of Barkly Cottage. Please note that the property is accessed from Victoria Street and not Barkly Street.

Directions from Wodonga: Drive into the town centre,straight through the roundabout following signs to Wangaratta. Go over Newtown Bridge. Take the second turning on the left which is on the brow of the hill into Victoria Street. (This is a dirt track which you follow to the end and will lead you to the entrance of Barkly Cottage.)
