"The B&B is in a fantastic location, just in front of the beach, perfect to relax and switch off. Our room was big and nice. We loved the arrangement and the decoration of the communal part of the house. Breakfast provided is well assorted and is always accompanied by long chats with its lovely hosts that can extend for hours! For all these reasons this is probably the nicest B&B we have been at."

"The Sea Change B&B is beautifully situated right on the peacefull Newell beach. Great place to stay when visiting Port Douglas, Mossman and Cape Tribulation or even just spending a day at the beach! The hosts gave us a warm welcome and the breakfast was just scrumptious including tropical fruits, freshly baked banana bread or orange-poppy muffins and local coffee.
All in all quite a luxurious (very nice bedding!) Bed and Breakfast!"

"We stayed at the Sea Change B & B in February for 3 nights to celebrate my 40th birthday! This place is a great little find; very private and relaxing with the beach right across the road! The hosts Caroline and Werner are attentive and friendly and very proud of their little piece of paradise!

We were lucky enough to have the whole B & B to ourselves and had the room on the top floor. The room was very large with a great king bed and a litle porch that looked straight at the beach...great for watching sunrises!

The pool was lovely and tranquil and private...great for cooling off after being in the tropical heat.

One of the highlights was the wonderful tropical breakfasts; the tropical fruits are locally grown and some are even grown on the property. Caroline even makes her own museli! Her french toast and pancakes are to die for!

Overall, if you are looking for somewhere quiet, away from the action of Port Douglas, this is definately a great choice.

We will certainly be back!

"Sea Change is a great place to stay
the welcome from Caroline and Werner is very friendly and they are most helpful to plan your visit
the breakfast with al sorts of tropical fruit, homemade cereals en home baked bread is gorgeous
the accomodation is beautiful and confortable
and the location is very quiet, next to the beach in a dead end street
it's like paradise !

"We enjoyed our stay with Carolyn and Wearner very much. We had originaly booked two nights and stayed an extra night to take in the relaxing atmosphere of the location and walking on the beach. The accommodation gave a mediterranean feel, and the fresh tropical fruit breakfast with home backed breads and muffins was an excellent refreshing start to the day. Newell beach is well placed to access Cape Tribulation, Port Douglas, Mossman Gorge and the Table lands if you want to explore the region. We will definitely return to recharge our batteries in the near future."
