Crebra is just 1.5 hours from both Brisbane and the Gold Coast and just 20 minutes from Beaudesert. There is plenty to do if you are feeling active and plenty of great spots to do nothing if that is what you prefer. Follow the winding cattle tracks, sketch the Jinbroken Range in the west, spy on the platypus, paddle and fish along the river for a kilometre or two
or simply unwind with a wine in front of the fireplace. There are great verandahs front and back too, so you will never tire of the view!

Crebra is fully self contained. It is well equipped with cookware, linen, DVD and stereo. All you need to do is bring your own food and drink and settle into the peaceful surroundings.

We just loved everything!!!
The house was absolutely perfect... the surrounding was so peaceful and the views were so beautiful. There is so much to see and do and the only down side is that we did not stay long enough - Trish Jul'08.
Will book again as the stay was just too short! The boys all had a great time, so peaceful and quiet and the farm house is just beautiful - Annie
We had a fantastic weekend at Crebra.
The house was neat as a pin and even better than I expected - Gerry

The Setting

You will be staying on a DAIRY farm so if you are interested in watching the milking, please ask if we have time to show you. Crebra is set atop a hill with its own access and plenty of room so privacy is assured. The Albert River sits just below you has long pretty waterholes, banks to picnic and relax on, fish to be caught and rocks to hop on. It is a favorite for sport fishing Bass and Mary River Cod - other fish include Eel Tailed Catfish, Eels and Carp. If you are very quiet you may even see our resident platypus playing in the early mornings or late evenings.

The bird life will also astound you - from the huge wedge tail eagle to the tiny red breasted wrens. Identify all the new species you see and add them to the list of sightings for Crebra. Farmhouse - books supplied.

Follow the cattle pads, explore the gullies, paddle the river and admire the views - there is plenty of space on the farm for those who have the need to explore. Alternatively drive up to the end of the road (15min) to the Lost World Valley to access the wilderness end of the World Heritage listed Lamington National Park. The O'Reilly's end of the Lamington National Park has many graded tracks and is an enjoyable 4 wheel drive journey up Duck Creek Road (Duck Creek Road turn off is about a km from Crebra Farmhouse).
