Holiday house

This private property is on a large piece of land, north of Binalong Bay and adjoining the Bay of Fires Coastal Reserve. It is surrounded by beautiful, indigenous native vegetation providing an ideal habitat for many species of birds and animals, especially the rare yellow-tailed black cockatoo.
The house is light, sunny and warm throughout the year with uninterrupted northern sun during the day. It is very well equipped for holiday or extended stays with quality fittings, a well equipped kitchen and comfortable furnishings. There are 2 wood combustion heaters, a modern Scandinavian one upstairs with glass doors and another downstairs which keep the house warm and comfortable in all seasons.
From a large, sunny, upstairs deck protected from the wind there are extensive views to the north and east of the Bay of Fires Coastal Reserve and Pacific Ocean.
Jeanneret Beach is a safe, beautiful swimming and snorkelling beach about 2 minutes walk away or the surf beaches directly in front of the house are accessed by a path through the coastal reserve.
The house is a 5 minute drive or a 35 minute walk along the beach from Binalong Bay with its bistro/restaurant -just the right distance to work up an appetite as you collect the morning paper!
Of the two bedrooms upstairs one has a new queen size bed, another has a very good double bed. Bathroom and toilet facilities are downstairs. There are 2 small children's bedrooms downstairs and an open space where there is a table tennis table.

Locality

The house adjoins the world famous Bay of Fires Coastal Reserve north of Binalong Bay and is surrounded by beautiful original native vegetation.
The swimming is wonderful with the dazzling white beaches and very clear blue water. A variety of beaches lets you decide if you want surf or flat water. There is a huge diversity of fish in the kelp beds just off the granite rocks on the headlands. The snorkelling is excellent.
The area is ideal for boating or kayaking and we have often kayaked with dolphins just in front of the house. We have also seen whales in May, June and September mostly as they come and go from Antarctica.
There is a pair of sea eagles that nest nearby and these can usually be seen each day
