Holiday house

The luxuriously appointed lodge style home has a main King suite with full ensuite and walk in robe. The Queen bedroom has built in robes while the third bedroom has 3 King Single beds. A separate full bathroom adjoins both the latter two bedrooms.

The inviting loungeroom includes a designer lounge with accompanying armchairs and a chaise lounge nestled around an open Jotul fireplace.

The main dining room accommodates up to 10-12 guests around an oval antique cedar table with accompanying velvet covered cedar dining chairs.

The casual breakfast/lunch dining table accommodates up to 6 around an antique circular cedar table.

The fully equipped kitchen includes fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, double oven, cooktop and must have essentials including a Nespresso coffee machine.

A laundry includes washing machine, dryer and additional bathroom facilities.

A fully equipped rumpus room has been set up especially with children in mind so they can either read, paint or play. This room also includes a queen sofa bed if needed.

Unbelievable views from every bedroom encourage mornings in bed with a cup of tea while reading your favourite book.

The sunset should be appreciated while preparing a gourmet BBQ on the veranda,

Main Attractions

Selwyn Snowfields is Australia's lead family ski resort. The owners have gone to great lengths to make this resort family friendly with the emphasis on fun, safety and enjoyment without feeling intimidated.

Golfing is available at Batlow, Tumut and Tumbarumba. All golf courses offer their own challenges in a very picturesque environment.

Adelong has the remnants of the goldfields - well worth a visit to see many aspects of yesteryear that have been retained and restored. Enjoy a swim and picnic as well.

Wineries - enjoy exploring the many wineries that the Tumbarumba area has to offer. Some have started to collect recognition for cold climate wines grown in ideal conditions.

Water sports are enjoyed throughout the district - whether it be boating/water skiing on Blowering Dam, rafting in the Tumut River or fishing on Talbingo Dam.

For those with a need to explore, the farm offers relaxing walks in the native bushland, fishing in nearby dams or simply enjoying the garden rotunda while observing the amazing birdlife.

Winter days can be spent enjoying the delights of an open fire or for the more curious, there are many fascinating tourist destinations including the world reknowned Sugar Pine Forest as Laurel Hill, the historic Adelong Falls, Buddong Falls and the Paddy's River falls outside Tumbarumba.

Within walking distance there are many orchards that sell Australia's best apples and pears in winter and cherries, blueberries, raspberries, apricots and peaches in summer.

Nearby - enjoy fishing, water skiing, jet boating, sailing on Blowering Dam. Nearby discover some of Australia's finest trout fishing spots.

Brindabella is a perfect winter wonderland holiday experience. While it sometimes can snow on Brindabella it usually does not last any longer than 24 hours. However sitting and gazing into the wood fire can be superbly relaxing!

The nearest snowfield is located at Selwyn Snowfields - an easy 1.5 hours drive away. This particular snowfield is ideal for families with a terrific range of beginner to medium slopes available. There is also a toboggan and snowboard park.
