Set on the pristine backwaters of the Clyde River amongst the mangroves, you have a private jetty at your doorstep where you may wish to fish, kayak or even set yourself up for a romantic meal! Yet only a 2 minute walk along the foreshore takes you to the town centre offering restaurants, clubs and shops. The new foreshore parkland provides a boat ramp, undercover BBQ area and newly built playground.

Batemans Bay is a popular coastal town 3 1/2 hours south of Sydney and under 2 hours from Canberra, Its location at the mouth of the magnificant Clyde River provides a water playground of kayaking, fishing, surfing and many other water activities. Eurobodalla means 'Land of Many Waters', so you may wish to explore some of our many lakes, inlets or estuaries or take a stroll along a secluded beach exploring rockpools and coastal headlands. The famous Mogo Zoo, 10 km south, is well worth a visit, or experience life in the 1850's gold rush era at Old Mogo Town. Take a river cruise up the Clyde to the historical town of Nelligen or go for a kyaking tour and learn all about our famous Clyde River oysters. Just an hours drive south takes you through many interesting and historical towns, along scenic waterways, where you can endulge in fish and chips on the water's edge, take a cruise to Montague Island Reserve to see its historical lighthouse, flora and fauna, or cruise the blue water inlets of Wagonga Inlet. 15 minutes from Narooma the town of Tilba, with its arts and crafts, is well worth a visit. All this is within an hours drive from the Bay!
