"The riverside Townhouse is exactly what is described, a well appointed, comfortable and enjoyable place to stay.

For those who are forgetful like me, walking into this townhouse is a pleasure because everything you could need is supplied right down to the egg rings for the BBQ. The kids will have a cupboard full of games, and books for the adults when you are finished with the great (shallow and safe) beach outside your back door. The parkland is pleasant and those with dogs will enjoy the space but you will need to lock up your pet in the smallish carport at night.

The beds were comfy and the lounge area is quite spacious. There are good, flat walks around surfside and you can walk to Batemans bay across the bridge which will take you about 25 mins. There is a handy fish'n'chippery about 5 mins walk If you plan to fish, i caught nothing so dont expect a bag full by sundown.

One recommendation is to bring sunscreen because if you sit out the back, you have little shade in the afternoons, but the view is worth it and the lights of the town at night is entrancing.

For a restful, relaxing and affordable stay with your pet or kids or a couple, i recommend the riverside apartments. You will also find the owners very accomodating for your needs. "

"The place was great - fantastic location for dog owners as the beach is right out th eback door. The apratment had everything we needed and was comfortable though not stylish. A fence aorund the yard would have been excellent but the gated carport was fine for the dog."
