Romantic getaway

Open a bottle of bubbly and watch the stunning sunsets followed by the night lights of Batemans Bay across the water with that special someone.

Holiday unit

The Riverside Townhouse is 1 of only 4 townhouses with the beach literally at your doorstep - no more getting into a hot car covered in salt and sand. Enjoy magnificent views and sunsets across the water to town. Perfect for all calm water sports. It features a dishwasher, gas heating and BBQ, large plasma TV,CD/radio, DVD and free cot, high chair and baby bath on request. You wil also find a cupboard full of games, books, toys and videos for the kids. There is a lock-up garage and you can pull your small boat up onto the sand. Pets more than welcome (conditions apply). Sorry no fences, but a secure double garage if required for your dog. There is excellent mobile phone reception.

We get a lot of our guests returning time after time and our guest book is full of wonderful testimonials from people who have stayed. You won't be disappointed.

Locality

At low tide you can take a leisurely stroll into town via the sand and enjoy the many alfresco and waterfront eateries that the Bay has to offer. Pets welcome outside in most but you should ask first. The beach is perfect for small children, a deeper beach with a light surf is just around the corner. You can see us on Google Earth at 85 Timbara Crescent, Batemans Bay 2536.

Property

The townhouse is very spacious and features a reverse cycle ceiling fan in the lounge area and remote ceiling fans in the bedrooms.
A $300 security deposit is required on all bookings. Please note we also charge a $40 cleaning fee on single night bookings.

A neighbour offers sea kayaking tours as our location within the bay provides perfect conditions for exploring the local estuaries etc. Kayak to town for your paper or drop a lobster pot near the rocks.

The bus stop is only metres from the townhouse.

Pet friendly

Small dogs (less than 11 kg) are permitted, Medium dogs (11 kg to less than 34 kg) are permitted, Large dogs (34 kg or heavier) are permitted, Pets are permitted inside.

To cover the more frequent carpet cleaning, flea treatments etc we ask for a $15 fee per pet per booking. The townhouse is right on a pet friendly beach and while the property is not fenced, does have a clean and dry double garage area - one side has a roller door and the other a grille door, if you have a dog that is not house trained. Others allowed inside but to be kept off the furniture and please clean up after them. Also please keep them well groomed to minimise hair loss (including short hair dogs) and a tick treatment is recommended along the east coast of Australia. Bedding and bowls not provided for health reasons. Sorry but due to problems in the past, cats are not allowed.

We are literally on the sand - no road between the back door and the beach. The beach itself is estuarine so perfect for dogs and small children where they can hunt for crabs and shells.
