Holiday house, Spa

Surf Beach Getaway comprises of 2 self contained areas. There are no internal stairs. You may rent upstairs or downstairs, why not rent upstairs and downstairs together, this would be suitable for two families. You will never share this home with others, regardless of which level of the home you rent.

UPSTAIRS is a spacious 3 bedroom family home which is f/furnished & self-contained, well suited to the family holiday. Although this level sleeps 6.

The Main Bedroom has a queen size bed, side tables, lamps & an alarm clock, whilst the 2nd & 3rd bedrooms have two single beds in each also with bedside tables and lamps. Doona's/Covers/Pillows & spare blankets are supplied for all beds.

Both Kitchens (upstairs & downstairs) have all the requirements you need including a microwave.

The Upstairs Lounge/Dining Room has a Lounge, T.V. and DVD player, bean bags for the kids, as well as dining table and chairs. A Heater is also available.

Both Bathrooms have a shower (bath only upstairs) with a separate toilet on both levels. TOWELS NOT SUPPLIED.

DOWNSTAIRS is a smaller area which again is f/furnished & self contained & well suited to a smaller family or a couple looking for a budget holiday. This level sleeps 5 & has bedding for 5. The main bedroom has a queen size bed, whilst the 2nd bedroom has bunks, consisting of double underneath & single on top. Doona's/Covers/Pillows & spare blankets are supplied for all beds.

The Downstairs Lounge/Dining Room has a Lounge, T.V., DVD & CD player, as well as dining table and chairs. A Heater is also available.

The Laundry, which is available to both upstairs and downstairs, consists of a Washing Machine, Clothes Aryer.
Washing Basket, Pegs, Iron and Ironing Board. These are supplied for your convenience.

The yard is fenced & childproof also having room for a boat and trailer.

This property is available all year round. Pets welcome.

We spent 3 weeks in january 2011 here, it's our 3rd year in a row and we're going back again next january! It's perfect for families- lots of space, big secure yard, lovely spa/bbq area and the shops & beach are only 3 minutes easy walk away. Also so easy to get to all the touristy stuff without having to stay in it. The cost is great too, have paid more elsewhere and got so much less!

Locality

Our property is situated only a minutes walk from the local "Surf Beach" and corner shops which hosts a variety of stores such as:-

* IGA Supermarket
* Chinese Restaurant (eat in or takeaway)
* Surf Beach Pizza (eat in or takeaway)
* Bottle Shop
* Medical Centre
* Chemist
* Hairdresser

SURF BEACH: is a family friendly beach which is patrolled throughout the summer holidays, perfect for surfing or boogie boarding. Soulrider Surf School offers lessons to beginners right here at Surf Beach.

If you’re after a calmer beach, then why not visit Denhams Beach or Wimbie Beach both only minutes away.

FISHING: Several charter companies in Bateman's Bay offer deep sea outings. Have your own boat? The local boat ramp is only a couple of minutes drive away.

KAYAKING: Kayak hire, lessons & fitness classes available by accredited instructors.

BUSHWALKING: At Murramarang National Park.

JET SKI HIRE: Enjoy the fun and excitment, run from Corrigans Beach.

SCUBA: The Dive Shop in Bateman's Bay offers boat dive trips to popular nearby spots.

CLUBS: There are several major clubs only minutes away for your enjoyment, such at the Catalina Country Club, which hosts a championship Golf Course (27 holes), The Soldiers and Bowling Club are situated in the heart of Bateman's Bay.

BATEMAN'S BAY: There are things for everyone, putt-putt, movies, major shopping centre, cafe's, local swimming pool, skateboard park, and Birdland Animal Park, just to mention a few.

MOGO: Mogo Zoo is only a 15 minute drive. An absolute must for all. While you’re there, why not relive the goldmining days at Mogo Goldfields or visit the galleries and craft shops or just sit back and enjoy a coffee at one of the cafe's.

Surf Beach Getaway suits me very well.
Many reasons:

* It is not far from Canberra
* The house is located close to a very small shopping center and the beach – everything that you need is there, extremely handy for someone who is without a car or who does not want to drive.
* There are three restaurants.
* The house is very spacious, clean and has a lot of windows and light.
*The house is situated in a quit street – not on the main road.
* Surf Beach is also very close to Bateheaven – another small shopping centre (6 Km) - very nice walk for those who like to walk (like me).
* The neighbours are delightful.
* The garden is beautiful, very well maintained and pets are allowed.
* The beach is just stunning.
* The dealings with the owner Lisa Pimm are always very pleasant.
* I, myself fully enjoyed my week there and it was like a retreat (very good for people who have normally a very busy life).

My wife and I were fortunate to spend a weekend at Pimms Surf Beach Getaway. The accomodation was clean, tidy and had all the facilities for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. We stayed in the upstairs level and the rooms were big with comfortable bedding. The yard was well maintained and fully fenced making it a safe place for children to play. As an added bonus it was pet friendly. Situated in a handy location we were able to explore the south coast region and visit many of the local attractions. We would definitely stay there again.

HIGH SEASON - 2011/2012

$1300.00 per week or $190.00 per night - minimum 2 night stay.

LOW SEASON - 2011/2012

MAY/JUNE/JULY & AUGUST (INCLUDES JULY SCHOOL HOLIDAYS):-

$1000.00 per week or $170.00 per night - minimum 2 night stay.

Stay 10 nights or more and receive a 10% discount.
