Dunns Creek Downs has one very private 2 bedroom cabin set on 9 acres. It backs onto Mogo State Forest which has many trails suitable for bushwalkers, mountain bike & horse riders. NEW! We now also have accommodation for horses.

Our property is situated on a hill behind Rosedale – 200 feet above sea level. On really hot days when temperatures are soaring at sea level arriving at our property is like a breath of fresh air. In the winter months we don’t experience the cold winds coming off the ocean.

The cabin is carpeted and has leather lounges, reverse cycle air conditioning and a well appointed kitchen. There is a large covered deck, with a gas barbeque, beer fridge and tables and chairs. This is directly overlooking a rainforest creek, the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. There is also a paved courtyard with an outdoor setting. This is surrounded by native gardens inhabited by abundant bird & wildlife. Bird feeders are placed in the garden and we supply seed so you can feed the birds and see them up close. We have identified over 50 species of native birds, including several pigeons - some of them are very rare and can only be seen in a rainforest setting as we have on our property. We have compiled a bird book and supply binoculars so you can do the same.

There is plenty of room for families – you can use a whole paddock for a game of cricket. Children love exploring, collecting tadpoles from the dam and feeding my pet horse ‘Tequila’.

Rosedale beach is just a 3 minute drive down the hill. It is renowned for its natural beauty, the many secluded beaches and coves and is less crowded than most other beaches.

Our property is unique in that it has the privacy and natural beauty of a bush hideaway but is in fact only minutes from beaches, shops and clubs. You can even get a pizza delivered.

The Eurobodalla Nature Coast is unique in that we are surrounded by many State Forests and National Parks. There is also a wide variety of beaches to visit from small secluded coves to long sandy beaches. Local attractions and activities include, bushwalking, mountain bike trails, swimming, fishing, boating (fishing & whale watching charters available), tennis, restaurants and clubs. The Eurobodalla Botanic Gardens and the historic village of Mogo are a short distance away. Mogo has many quaint shops, Mogo Zoo and Old Mogo Town.

Dunns Creek Downs is situated half way between the tourist towns of Batemans Bay and Moruya. We are approximately 2 hours from Canberra and 4 hours from Sydney. We are a 3 minute drive to beautiful Rosedale Beach and Guerilla Bay with their many secluded coves and small beaches. We are a short distance from clubs, shops, restaurants, tennis courts and the Tomago River (boat ramp).

If you are flying in we would be happy to pick you up from the airport.
