Holiday house

This absolute beachfront, 3 bedroom home is ideal for a family getaway or just good old fashioned peace and quiet. This property offers fantastic ocean views and is only a few metres from the patrolled Oaks Beach.

The house is comfortably presented and is fully self-contained, accommodating up to 6 people. There is a single lock-up garage with a long driveway providing additional off street parking. (pets are welcome!).

For an additional cost, there is also a self contained "Granny Flat" at the back of the house that can accommodate a further 6 people. It has a separate bathroom and kitchenette.

PLEASE NOTE THAT DURING PEAK HOLIDAY PERIODS, THE GRANNY FLAT HAS TO BE BOOKED WITH THE MAIN HOUSE

The Granny Flat is the old house, built in the mid 1950s. It is an ideal 'rumpus room' for children giving peace to parents! It has a TV/DvD area with 2 sofas. The bedding arrangements are a double bed, 2 bunk beds and a sofa bed. It is a bit 'rustic' but comfortable having a new kitchenette, carpet and tiling a year or so ago. There is a separate bathroom and toilet.
The cost is from $30 to $70 per night depending on the season.

Locality

The property is only a one minute drive to the local shops, including an IGA supermarket, a pharmacy, a general store, bakery, cafe, hairdressers, a takeaway outlet and pub with a bottle shop.. Mon Repos and Bargara are approx 5 minutes drive south from Oaks Beach. Mon Repos is where the well-known loggerhead turtle sanctuary is located.

The flatness of the terrain makes it ideal for recreational bike riding. There is a newly completed ocean front bikeway all the way to Bargara. The views are breathtaking!

Also located in Burnett Heads is the harbour, and the impressive Bundaberg Port Marina, making it ideal for boat owners, fishing excursions or pleasure cruising.

Oaks Beach also provides an environmentalist's dream with its own show of the loggerhead turtles during the nesting and hatching season from mid November to mid March as well as whale watching during the winter months.

This beach front property offers fantastic uninterrupted ocean views and is only a few metres from the patrolled Oaks Beach.

Pet friendly

Medium dogs (11 kg to less than 34 kg) are permitted, Pets are permitted inside, Cats are permitted, Small dogs (less than 11 kg) are permitted.

If your small/medium dog is house trained, they are welcome inside, but not on the furniture please. Outside, there is a grassed area with low level fencing (about a metre high) between the main house and the Granny flat.
