5 bedroom (or 4 bedroom with study/playroom). The property comprises a renovated heritage cottage built in the 1800's with a sympathetic modern extension built in 2002. It has wrap around verandahs and large open living areas with views of the harbour, bridge and city. The dining table seats 8 comfortably and the kitchen is fully equiped. The house is great for families with children and toys can be provided on request. A highchair and children's chair are available and a travel cot is available. The house can comforably sleep 11. Close to transport (harbour ferry and bus) and is in a cosmopolitan and vibrant area of the inner city.
LocalityBalmain is a cosmopolitan area of Sydney containing a mixture of renovated heritage buildings and small scale commercial development. The suburb is based on a peninsular and is therefore surrounded by water serviced by Sydney Harbour Ferries. The area has a numerous well known cafes, restaurants, pubs and the famous Balmain and Rozelle Markets on Saturdays and Sundays. The Dawn Fraser Pool (named after the local swimming legend) is a heritage listed harbourside salt water pool suitable for children and adults.
