Nestled amongst the cane fields on the North Coast of New South Wales, Tassiriki Ranch occupies 40 acres of lush grasslands just 800 meters from secluded South Ballina Beach. Tassiriki Ranch offers relaxing rural accommodation with safe horseriding activities for both guests and visitors. Guests with their own horses are welcome to bring them on holiday and experience a beachside horseriding holiday together. Tassiriki Ranch also offers "quality care for your horse" with short-term and long-term agistment available in both shared paddocks and private stables.

Relax in comfortable self-contained air-conditioned holiday cabins just a short walk to forty kilometres of pristine beach and blue ocean stretching from South Ballina break-wall in the north to Evans Head in the south. During off-peak season the beach is virtually empty, no-one to be seen for miles, it’s very private. During peak season (long-weekends & school holidays) you will share the beach with just a small number of holidaying fisherman searching for that special spot on the beach likely to return a fish or two, but still quite private.

At Tassiriki Ranch we offer a variety of horse riding activities suitable for nervous beginners through to intermediate riders. Our activities include relaxing beach trail rides for couples, families, and small groups of friends, as well as horse awareness and riding lessons for beginners and safe led pony rides for young children. You don't have to be staying at Tassiriki Ranch to participate in beach trail rides, however, advance bookings are essential.


At Tassiriki Ranch we also have accommodation for your horse so you can experience a beachside holiday together. Comfortable self-contained holiday cabins with facilities for horses located just over the sand dunes from one of the best beaches in Australia where horse riding is permitted.

Our facilities are comprised of two self-contained air-conditioned cabins and an outdoor BBQ area. Conveniently located at the rear of the cabins are seven horse stables with night holding-yards.

The air-conditioned cabins are single rooms with an open plan design incorporating a kitchenette, double-bed, double-bunk, and dining table in one room with an ensuite shower and toilet off to one side. Accommodating up to 4 people the cabins are tastefully decorated in a combination of raw timber decor and solid timber furniture and fitted with everything you will need for a comfortable stay.

Bedding including bed liners, doonas, blankets, and pillows are provided. Linen (Bath towels, bed sheets and pillow cases) is NOT supplied, but is available for hire.
