Forest Glen comprises 65 hectares (160 acres), about a third of which is natural, native bushland, another third being wide open spaces, and the final third being an organic tea tree plantation.

The homestead and Farm Stay are surrounded by well kept lawns and gardens, inviting birds and wildlife to share the space. Waking up to the grazing 'roos and wallabies outside the door is a daily event.

Forest Glen is civilisation...
The Farmstay accommodation comprises a five bedroom original cottage. This can be occupied by as few as a couple or as many as ten people. It comes complete with fully self-contained kitchen, dining/lounge room, bathroom, TV and your choice of wood combustion stove or gas heating.

At a pinch, a bunk room accommodates another six in true, basic style. For these larger numbers, additional bathroom/toilet amenities are just a few steps away.

A games room with pool table, table tennis and table games complete the picture.

By arrangement, Forest Glen can offer a unique service to special needs guests: showering and toileting disabled folk who are able to weight bear. Imagine bringing your aged parent/s for a couple of days to the country, knowing they will be cared for as well as they are at home.

Forest Glen also boasts a 60-seat reception centre that is designed to cater for day tour groups (morning teas, lunches, etc.), parties, weddings, seminars and small conferences. Amanda's many years of catering experience, including seven years on the road feeding film crews and stars alike, are put to good use, and meal packages are available by arrangement. The Farm Stay provides an option for staying on site after the function.

Situated a short drive from Evans Head, Forest Glen Organic Farm is the ideal place to use as a peaceful base from which to enjoy the district's attractions (horse riding, surfing, caneoing, bushwalking, etc.)

Forest Glen Organic Farm is a working farm, so it offers a true farm experience. From harvesting to processing of tea tree oil (in season) to maintenance of extensive gardens, working in the hothouses, feeding chooks and collecting eggs, through to patting the horses and playing with Australia's friendliest farm dog. A single cottage with five bedrooms (two queens, one double and two twins) and a 6-bed bunkhouse sleeps up to 16 people. A full sized cot is available for an infant. Bedding and linen are provided (no beach/pool towels). Linen and towel changes are available each fifth day.
