Eyre House is located minutes from the Town Centre, Cafe and Restaurant precinct and Hospitals. Two kilometres from Ballarat's hospital preceinct. Two kilometres from Ballarat's Court House precinct.

"Quand nous avons vu pour la première fois Eyre House, ma famille et moi avons eu très peur. Le jardin était un peu à l'abandon, le portail ne fermait plus trop, et il y avait des toiles d'araignées aux fenêtres. Mais au fur et à mesure que nous sommes rentrés à l'intérieur, nous avons été de plus en plus enthousiastes. Nous avons apprécié l'équipement du cottage : le chauffage dans la douche et son extracteur, la machine à laver le linge, la machine à laver la vaisselle, la cuisine et ses nombreux ustensiles et grands plats , le dvd, l'internet, le parking, le jardin privé , son BBQ et ses chaises. Ce cottage n'est pas loin d'une grande surface, on peut y aller facilement à pied.
Nous aurions bien voulu rencontrer le propriétaire pour le féliciter d'avoir restauré cette vieille maison et le remercier d'avoir été si gentil au téléphone (notre anglais n'est pas le meilleur) mais il a été tellement discret que nous n'avons même pas pu le voir quand il nous a apporté la facture.
Eyre House est un cottage qui doit continuer à s'améliorer pour devenir fabuleux.
