Holiday unit

Serenity Hut offers privacy, comfort, views and affordability. Set amid a rocky outcrop and overlooking a little valley of shaded forest, trees and pasture, with bird life to greet you in the mornings and evenings , it's the place to take a well earned rest. The interior is well appointed with full stove/oven, microwave, fridge, heating (wood fire) and cooling, R/V air/con.

Locality

Balingup is situated in the Warren Blackwood Region of the South West . It is a thriving small town with a population of around 450 people, is tourist and orchard based with the Bibbulmun and Munda Bindi Tracks passing through it and the World Heritage Golden Valley Tree Park , all within walking distance of the property.

Property

Serenity Hut is situated on a 12 acre property in the hills which over look the township of Balingup. A truly awesome overview of surrounding hills and valleys as you decend from this property. We carry a small flock of sheep and chickens for fresh egg supply and our rain water storage is used throughout. We also have a dam on the property for garden use.
The main house can be accessed on way to Hut and is also on the property.

Balingup Serenity Hut is situated on a beautiful rocky outcrop overlooking a cluster of eucapipts to one side and a pine plantation on the other and nessiled mid point on a undulating twelve acre property. With morning mists, often kangaroo's resident sheep and an abundance of bird life it's a delightful retreat from life' stressful demands.The Hut is well equipped and newly renovated. It has a tile fire for winter warmth and a reverse cycle aircon. for summer cool. Access is easy with privacy from main building.

The landscape offers refuse and a home to many varieties of bird life. To name a few, Red Robins, Blue Wrens, Wattlers, Red taialed Cocatoos, Parrets, Galas, Kookaburra's Magpies,

Bushwalking & wilderness

Bushwalking and wilderness experiences located nearby, Bushwalking maps provided, Located near a National Park.

Balingup is placed at a junctionof the Bubbulmun Track , so in either direction walkers can pick up the tract. There are also many shorter walking tracks throughout Balingup, The Golden Valley Tree Park, The Old Race Course to name a few.

Farmland Experiences

Sheep, Chickens, Other farm animals, Guests able to interact with the farm animals.

We carry up to 26 sheep/ lambs throughout the year. At various times drenching and sheering where guests are welcome to observe. If children stay they too can hand feed them.

Winter Holiday

The slow combustion wood fire is a welcome addition upon arrival especially if you're coming in after dark, as it warms the whole hut and is capable of burning all night. Wood is supplied for top ups also throughout your stay.
