Alta Vista Cottage is a 1950's Art Deco, character home located on the Derwent River.The 1st living area is open planned with kitchen,dining,living area,that opens onto the deck with views.Here is where the cd player and cds are for your comfort. The 2nd large living area has the tv w/dvd player and dvds. French doors open out on to the long deck.Stained glass,high ceilings,polished wood floors, wood fire place ,original light fittings are just a few of the special qualities of this home.Laundry room w/extra toilet.Kitchen is well stocked oils,vinegars,spices etc. for you to prepare that gourmet taste of Tassie.Even a cappicino machine for that special coffee to enjoy on the deck to watch the views.The back sandstone courtyard overlooks the lanscaped gardens, where you can have a bbq. The added bonus is in the summer months every wednesday evening &sunday afternoons yachts race out front.Occasionally, dolphins chase fish up the river.That's a great sight to see.Alta Vista is comfy,easy and makes you feel special.
