Augusta, Western Australia
Close to the Margaret River wine region, you will discover this private, fully restored 1930's family owned single cottage, one of the few properties in an unspoilt country town, that has its own river frontage and yet so close to the ocean.
"The cottage is ideally located right next to the boardwalk on the Blackwood River. You can literally walk for miles from the front door along the river bank and onto the beach.
The location was very quiet and peaceful and the views were gorgeous.

"Great location! really enjoyed the walks along the boardwalk each day - lovely views, and great bird life! The kitchen was well equipped and the place was clean! The run to the outdoor loo in the middle of the night was FREEZING! but i keep telling myself it all added to the "charm" of the place! We'd book here again next time we're down in Augusta! "

"Apart from the lovely cottage - the best thing about our stay was the closeness to the river and boardwalk. Easy walking distance to Colourpatch, mini golf. The kids had their scooters and enjoyed racing up and down the boardwalk. They had a great time practicing their fishing by casting straight into the river from the boardwalk. Best spot we've stayed in Augusta so far- we have been coming at same time for past 4 years."

"Bonnie Doon was a peaceful comfortable, cozy, beautifully furnished and well-equipped cottage. The property manager was extremely friendly and helpful. The view from the main bedroom was lovely - perfect for my 93 year-old Mum on what has certainly been her last trip to WA. "

"The cottage was close to the water which made launching canoes easy.
It was a well appointed small house."
