Platypus Lodge is a spacious family home with great views across Lake Tinaroo to Platypus Bay. Located 500m from Tinaroo Sailing Club it is perfect for visiting competing sailors, keen fishermen and boaters. The boat ramp and picnic area is 500m away. The house is has lovely timber floors and 2 bathrooms. There is room for several cars to park in the parking area as well as trailer boats. Platypus Lodge is just a couple of km from the dam wall.
LocalityThere is loads to do on the Atherton Tablelands. We are close by the weekend markets, the crater lakes, Curtain Fig Tree and tbe historic towns of Yungaburra and Ravenshoe. The climate up here is said to be "naturally air-conditioned". The rolling rural countryside is interrupted with tropical rainforests and volcanic crater lakes. PropertyPlatypus Lodge is just a couple of km from the dam wall and 500m from Tinaroo Sailing Club and boat ramp and picnic area.
