The hostel is centrally located in the lush rainforest of Tropical North Queensland close to the Crater Lakes and many beautiful waterfalls and other attactions. Fully guided canoe trips, mountain biking tours, free platypus viewing, night canoeing, wildlife spotting at the curtain fig tree are available for all ages. Country Markets on the 4th Saturday of each month.

A cozy lodge nestled in the rainforest. Clean, comfy and relaxed with a nightly BBQ, self-catering kitchen, table tennis, pool table, pot belly fireplace, games, puzzles, guitar and didgeridoos. Guided canoe trips, mountain biking, free platypus viewing, night canoeing, wildlife spotting available for all ages. Markets on 4th Saturday of each month.

We are in a great area to do some bird watching if you have your own vehicle. There are plenty of wetlands and swamps nearby, also very near to the Crater Lakes National Park, where there are plenty of rainforest birds to be seen. If you are patient that is!!

We are very close to many National Parks with short and overnight bush walking trails availiable for you to explore!

Fishing spots available nearby, Local fishing knowledge available, Located less than 5 minute drive to water, Boatramp within 5 minute drive, Boat storage/parking available onsite.

We are very close to Lake Tinnaroo which is a popular spot if you want to try your luck catching the elusive barramundi.

Small dogs (less than 11 kg) are permitted, Medium dogs (11 kg to less than 34 kg) are permitted, Large dogs (34 kg or heavier) are permitted, Food and water bowls provided, Other domesticated animals reside at the property.

FRIENDLY dogs are welcome at our lodge if they are cleaned up after.
