Arthur River, Tasmania
Enjoy absolute river frontage in this newly rebuilt, stylish and top quality property of two self-contained units (2 and 3 bedrooms) that can be connected to accommodate up to 12 people.
"Very roomy and clean living, lounge and kitchen. Bathroom and laundry clean and modern too. All modern appliances. Great location right on the river. Only negatives would be needs a modern bbq and the bldg next to it is an ugly eye-sore. Shop in Smithton on the way down for food and drinks esp bottled water. We had a great pub meal in Marawar and saw lots of wildlife on the way home including a quoll.

"As we used to own the original shack, I was feeling a bit dubious about staying as a guest in the new, modernized guest house. However, the new owners have done a great job and, thankfully, the view is exactly the same. My two young boys were able to experience the things that I grew up seeing and doing when I was there every weekend with my Dad.
The unit was warm, clean and has a great view out front, even at night when the wildlife start to fossick around for food. Great place!"

"Size of living area (it was huge) & kitchen was great. Enjoyed the real fire. Would prefer separate bath & shower rather than an all in one. Need to stock up on food in Smithton, nowhere to eat nearby & not much in the way of groceries available in Arthur River. If you have your own food, the facilities in the accommodation are perfect for preparing simple or complex meals. Sighted the resident wombat which was an absolute bonus. The owner, Michael was a pleasure to deal with. Fabulous sunsets over the ocean & wicked roaring 40s seas & raging winds provided a true picture of mother nature at her mighty best! The Edge of the World was well worth visiting - blew our socks off, awe-inspiring."

"Arthur Riverfront and Sealodge exceeded our expectations for both location, layout and amenities. It was certainly a location and accommodation highlight during our 2 week holiday. How could you beat sitting in front of the wood fire in the evening with a glass of wine and views of the river and beach! It was a pity that we could only stay one night as the river and beach would have been great to explore. Perfect for large families or the smaller of the units for travelling couples."

"The acommodation at the Arthur Riverfront Sealodge was the best we had in Tasmania.
It was well set out for full living functions, the decor was excellent (Ikea) and it even had readable books for relaxation.
I would suggest clients take their own food as shops are far away. A Shoobridge"

"The Lodge is very new so all the amenities were of high quality. This was beyond the expectations considering the remoteness of Arthur River. The setting on the river was fantastic."

"We really enjoyed the location of this accommodation- overlooking the river and the beach! Accommodation was sparklingly clean and there was nothing we feel we needed that wasn't there. It was the perfect place for us all to get away to. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!"
