Locality and Attractions

About 20 minutes drive from cultural university city of Armidale with it's cathedrals & churches, museums & schools; and historic Uralla, famed haunt of Thunderbolt the bush ranger, and scene of gold rushes.
Several World Heritage National Parks and waterfalls on your doorstep.
The area now has a burgeoning cold climate wine industry with Cellar Doors to tantalize your taste buds. One just next door!
The whole area is renowned for its production of fine wool and beef cattle.

See all these things and try gold panning, horse riding, bush walking in Nat Parks, check the local museums and antique shops and galleries....lots to do!!

Cruickshanks is located on the working 1000 acre property "North Mihi" where you can see first hand, "super fine wool" merino sheep and Angus cattle..also Highland cattle and alpacas and miniature ponies. See how a property works, perhaps witness shearing ( in season) and other sheep activities & watch the sheep dogs help with the muster and see a tractor.

Accommodation rates per night in both the S/C Cottage where there is a 2 night minimum, & The Homestead (B&B) ( no minimum). Rates current to 31st March, 2012.
Single adult......................$140.00 ( 1st night).
Double ............................$150.00 ( for one night)
Double ............................ $140.00 (for subsequent nights)
Per Child (3-14 yrs)...........$45.00
Per Child (under 3 yrs).......$25.00
Breakfast: Continental $10.00 pp & Hot English style $20.00 pp.

RATES REDUCED by $5 pp per day if guests bring own linen and towels.

Dinner is available too, preferably by prior arrangement. $25 to $45 each.
