In the afternoon, sit on the banks of the Chapman River and catch fresh Bream like the early settlers of years gone by. Kayak along the river and enjoy the serenity and the diverse birdlife of this significant wetlands and one of South Australia's most pristine rivers.

This location has been almost sacred to locals for over 100 years due to its beauty, peaceful seclusion and windless character. There are many interesting walks through significant wetlands, swamp gums/native tea trees, Lashmar Conservation Park as well as the stunning Antechamber Bay beach, where your footprints may be the only ones on the beach the entire day!

And if that's not enough...then there is the rest of the island to be explored!

Cape Willoughby Lighthouse tours operate daily (10 minute drive).

Lashmar Lagoon and Conservation Park are both within walking distance for walking and bird watching.

Each cabin sleeps 6-8 people in 2 bedrooms. The configuration is a double bed in bedroom 1, 2 double bunk beds in bedroom 2 and a fold out futon sofa bed in the lounge area.
