"It was wonderful having two sections. We went with two young children and it meant that they could get up in the morning and play in the sitting room without disturbing the rest of the house. the walk in wardrobe was spacious enough for a portacot so it meant the baby was not disturbed by parents. The outside area was magnificent. We saw koalas and lots of birds. The refrigerator made my day. It had an ice dispenser. Wonderful for a holiday for us - 7 adults and two children"

"Bayou is a superbly functional house in quiet cul de sac. It has a gorgeous outlook of bush and garden from all windows. Light fills the house at different times of day and sunshine dapples through the leaves of the bush behind late afternoon. It is such a relaxing environment with space for kids to play. Great appliances. Close to everything and great layout for several families. We loved it so much we wished it was ours! Lise, Bendigo "

"Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your lovely beach house, it really felt like we were in someone's home and not 'just a holiday rental'. The house is beautifully furnished with care and detail, and you make visitors feel very welcome with your make yourself at home attitude. My 5 year old son actually cried when we told him we were going home yesterday! We would certainly recommend your lovely home to friends with the highest regard."

"It's not often that holiday rentals tick all the boxes. However, the Bayou Beach House at Anglesea comes mighty close. There is something here for everbody.
The home itself is modern, clean and very well appointed (hooray for the full compliment of kitchen utensils)with appropriately designed retreats for kids and adults. Adjoining a nature reserve, we marvelled at the animal and native bird life - from rosellas to kookuburras - from the house's huge entertainment decks.(My husband even managed to hand feed the kookuburras!) And though you feel like you are in the middle of the bush, the home is so centrally located for all the fantastic things Anglesea has to offer - surf beaches, fishing in the river, kids playground, bike paths and shops. Leave the car at home because everything is a short, flat walk away. Just kick back and enjoy!'Lisa Jan 2010"

"What a fabulous house. Close to the beach, easy access to the fishing spots on the river and close to the shops. The backyard was spacious and the kids loved the trampoline, not to mention the butterflies, kookaburras, cockatoos and a kangaroo! My family and I had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to stay at the house again."

"The property is new, spacious and very well equipped and is in a prime location which is surprisingly quiet. In particular we enjoyed the parents retreat which is situated away from the children's bedrooms, the entertaining area including a BBQ and deck, spacious backyard which backs onto a nature reserve, a trampoline and a very well equipped kitchen. The property is located a very short walking distance away from the River where the children caught a number of fish off the jetty. Also, a number of local shops and beaches including the surf beach which is patrolled is just a short distance away. Anglesea is still very much a beach country town unspoilt by development. We enjoyed our stay immensely and the property overall would have to be one of the best we have stayed in. "
