‘Anglesea Overboard’ provides easy access to all attractions of the Surf Coast, including Point Addis Marine National Park and Coogoorah Park Wetlands. The local beaches are perfect for swimming, surfing and just relaxing. The 35km Surfcoast Walk passes through Anglesea, along the coast and beside the river.

Anglesea is a popular coastal town at the gateway to the Great Ocean Road and eight minutes from Aireys Inlet.

Have a hit of golf on the Anglesea Golf Coarse, set among beautiful native bushland, and famous for its gang of resident Kangaroos that graze blissfully unaware on the wide fairways or loll about near the greens. You don’t have to be a player to enjoy the spectacle. Sightseers can get a good view of the ’roos and wallabies from Golf Links Road.

Many of Anglesea’s other treasures are also products of nature. The wide sandy beach is perfect for swimming, surfing or just relaxing, while nearby Point Roadknight beach is a good place to catch some wind and you’ll often see sailboards and ‘cats’ zooming along on the breeze.

Coogoorah Park, adjoining the river, has a series of walking tracks, boardwalks and bridges that wind through native bush, span reedy wetlands teeming with birds and cross the river.

For wheelchairs...The cottage has an access ramp, wide entry and grab rails in the bathroom. Although there are no made footpaths in the immediate area, you really have everything you need right here.

There is just one large bedroom, so you can’t invite your friends to join you, you’ll just have to have it all to selfish selves, (…how terribly unfortunate ;)
Everything is beautifully set up and laid out for you when you arrive.
The comfy queen bed is made up with fresh white linen and designer duvet cover and plenty of nice pillows.
BIG, fluffy towels of high quality are nicely arranged for you and decorated with yummy treats.
Bathroom towelling is supplied, along with some specail soaps.
Virtually everything has been thought of, including a good hairdryer, iron and board...oh...did we mention the martini glasses?
