"When we arrived at Casuarina Coastal Units, we felt quite at home. The entire place reminded us of a cottage "up north" at the lake. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay there. David and Jill were friendly and helpful - wonderful hosts. The space was clean and neat, and a good, economical value. It was our first time at Kangaroo Island, and we felt that the location in the American River area provided easy access to the entire island. We were thrilled to see our first wallabies there!"

"The units were nice and comfortable. They were great value and close to everything American River has to offer. The units did have a TV and DVD player which was great to keep the kids entertained when we returned from a day of sightseeing. However the TV reception was poor and made it difficult to watch. Since we didn't bring any DVD's, the hosts did have a small collection of DVD's that you could borrow. Having the native wildlife literally at your front door was amazing and the kids got a thrill out of it too. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The hosts were very pleasant and helpful and took the time to talk to you even if they were busy. Well done guys!! I would definitely recommend these units to anyone if they were going to stay in American River. "
