Set between magnificent mountain ranges, Mary Valley Country is ideally situated with the historic town of Gympie just 15 minutes away, Noosa 40 minutes and Brisbane 1.5 hrs.

Discover the true Aussie bush and take a stroll to the waterhole, and keep an eye out for wallabies, koalas, echidnas, possums or the many varieties of native birdlife. Amamoor Lodge is a registered 'Land for Wildlife' property. Swim in the lagoon style pool or take in the Valley views from the outdoor spa.

Whilst here you can enjoy the many attractions in Mary Valley Country, or relax on the wide verandahs. Free wireless internet available.

Enjoy the feel of yesteryear in an old rustic shed which houses relics and memorabilia from yesteryear. Take a step back in time and trip in the Cobb & Co coach with Angel and Bundy at the reins.

Ride the famous 'Valley Rattler' old steam train from Amamoor station to Imbil or Gympie.

Amamoor State Forest is just a 5 minute drive away, where you can enjoy long bushwalks, see the platypus at play, or enjoy a picnic in the beautiful surrounds.

The National Country Music Muster is held every year on the last weekend in August in the Amamoor State Forest.

Locality

Amamoor Lodge is situated 20 klms south of Gympie and a 40 minute drive from Noosa.

It is an easy 1.5 hour drive north of Brisbane, just 7klms off the Bruce Highway. Take the Amamoor turnoff and follow the signs. Look for the windmill at the gate.

From Brisbane, drive through the beautiful Mary Valley through Conondale, Kenilworth and Imbil or visit the markets at Montville or Eumundi along the way.

Property suitable for wheelchair access. We have had several wheelchair guests and they have been very happy with the facilities provided. There is a very small lip into the bathroom but this has not been an issue.
