Chalet

Chalet 1 and 2 are 2 bedroom chalets with large open plan living area. Suitable for 4 adults and 2 children maximum. These have a rural view toward the hills of West Cape Howe.

The Homestead is a modern House 4 bedrooms and large open plan living and dining area, all serviced by a large, well appointed central kitchen. The house has views overlooking a watercourse and green pasture.

You can enjoy BBQs in the undercover area.

Chalets includes Linen and cuttlery.

All Chalets have own Gas BBQ, the homestead has an undercover outdoor BBQ area.

Heated by Wood Fires.

*Note we supply enough Toilet paper, tea bags, coffee, sugar, milk and detergent to get you started but it is suggested to bring supplies.

Ask us if you can bring a pet but please dont be offended if we say no

Cosy Corner Chalets are an ideal hideaway on a 40 acre rural property. Shower in rain water, breathe fresh air and experience the tranquil rural setting. Built in 2003 these are well appointed with LCD TV, DVD and comfortable bedding.

A generous living area heated by log fire makes these a cosy in winter and the natural maritime climate of Torbay keeps you refreshed in summer.

You can hear the waves on the shore from Torbay just minutes away.

Locality

Cosy Corner Chalets are nestled half way between Albany and Denmark , 25 kms in each direction, a short drive to Cosy Corner beach 3 ks, and a little further on to the vivid white sands of Shelly Beach and the West Cape Howe National Park.

Easy access to many albany attractions, including Albany Wind Farm, Mutton Bird Beach, Torbay inlet and further less then an hours drive to the Tree Top Walk near Walpole

Property

Cosy Corner Chalets are situated on a 40 acre property.

The fertile land in the Torbay along with the high annual rainfall support productive dairy farming, horticulture, cattle and sheep.

The property has a long farming history. As recent as 2005 it was a busy horticulture property where up to 150000 Cauliflowers per annum were grown for export, also brocolli and potatoes were grown all on the productive flats.

The Large dams on the property were all used for irrigation but today support a few Koonacs and supply water to the gardens.

The Property is still a working farm used primarily for cattle grazing. The Cattle you will see on the property are aged approximately 12 months to 18 months and are sold as 2 year olds when they will then be fed grain in a larger property in preparation for Export.
