Airlie Beach & Cannonvale are the gateway towns to the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef. It is a 14 hour drive from Brisbane. We are 7 hours drive south of Cairns, 3 hours south of Townsville and 1.5 hours north of Mackay.

There are two airports that service the area - Hamilton Island and Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast.)

Proserpine is approx 30kms away and regular shuttles, buses and taxis meet all arrivals & departures. Hamilton Island airport is approx 30 mins by boat from Shute Harbour and is serviced by both regular shuttles and Island Air Taxi
