This Arts & Crafts cottage is perfect retreat for a couple. Paprika is a sweet cottage tucked into the garden of Buxton
Manor. Paprika is a fully self contained cottage offering a full kitchen, separate lounge area and a king size spa bathroom. The cottage is furnished with beautiful Australian arts & crafts antiques and has beautiful views onto the English rose gardens of Buxton Manor.

Locality

Hop on the FREE CONNECTOR BUS every 1/2 hour between 8am- 6pm 7 days a week, which takes you between all ports of interest in the city (one complete circuit takes approx 1 ¼ hours) with frequent stops to all the attractions including the Central Market the oldest and most vibrant market in Australia, The South Australian Art Gallery and Museum, the fabulous Adelaide Cricket Oval and take a behind the scenes tour of the hand operated Score Board.

The bathroom has a big two-person spa bath with jets to luxuriate in and also a shower. The cottage has reverse cycle air conditioners and for added comfort, ceiling fans over the beds, and antique working pot belly fire. The cottage is covered in cascading roses and jasmine and was named after Regina’s fathers award winning 1960’s nightclub “The Paprika”. Some special features are the specially designed leadlight, the Mintaro all slate floor and the Lithuanian wrought iron cross bought by Rodney & Regina Twiss in Vilnius, Lithuania.

The gardener’s cottage is nestled in the lovely rear expansive garden of Buxton Manor with over 300 perfumed roses and extensive tennis court size lawns, a stone large BBQ and an outdoor table for four are provided close by.
