West Beach is a beachside suburb of Adelaide, the suburb between Glenelg and Henley Beach.

Property

This property is three spacious townhouses in their own small group. The interiors were completely updated in 2010 with new kitchens and bathrooms. The master ensuites are luxurious with views of the ocean and spa baths. A large deck at the front of the townhouse overlooks the beautiful beach. Decks at the rear of the townhouse provide a private place to sit in your own fenced courtyard. There is a wheelchair ramp installed at the side of townhouse 3. All our bathrooms have been designed to be easy to use for disabled or older guests with flat access to the showers and a grab rail in the ground floor bathroom.

A wheelchair ramp is provided adjacent to Townhouse 3 to allow wheelchair access via the front deck. The groundfloor bathroom and bedroom doors have wide access doors to allow wheelchair access to the rooms. The ground floor bathrooms are spacious enough for wheelchairs to turn. There is no lip on any of the showers and there is easy access for a carer to assist a disabled person in the shower area.

A walking path runs at the front of the property which will take walkers along the beachfront from West Beach to Glenelg or from West Beach to Semaphore. At the Torrens outlet, walkers can follow the Linear Park to Adelaide City and as far as Tea Tree Gully.

Adelaide Beaches Holiday Villas is doggy heaven. We love having doggy guests and encourage you to bring your pet with you. We have a number of guests who always bring their '4-legged children' with them and we have been told that pet friendly accommodation of this standard is rare and difficult to find.

Our townhouses have a private fully fenced courtyard between the home and the garage. Your pet can have full access to the garage for shelter. The garage is large and spacious, so there is plenty of room for a pet trailer and equipment as well as your car, for guests who are travelling to show their dog or cat.

At the owners discretion, your pet may be able to stay with you indoors - if you have a pet who is normally an indoor companion animal, please ask us - we usually allow this. You will be liable for any damage that your pet causes or any extra cleaning due to your dog or cat's sheading.

Bella, our shitzu-fox terrier cross dog and Nikita, our russian blue cat live in our townhouse on the property. Our garden is fully fenced and cat proof, so they will not bother your dog.

The property is located on a dog-friendly beach. Dogs may run free under their owner's control on the beach until 10am in the morning and after 8pm in the evening. At other times, dogs can still go on the beach on a lead.

There are walking tracks all around the property where dogs can be taken for long interesting walks.

We provide a water bowl and bedding for your dog. Grooming brushes, shampoos and tools are available on request.

Dogs are welcome on the balcony at the local surf club cafe and in the outside dining areas of many of the cafes and restaurants in the area. Your dog will want to visit 'Desparate Housedogs' at the Harbourtown Shopping Centre - homemade doggy treats and handmade pet clothing and accessories for the descerning pet.
