This private and peaceful 1830s cottage features original stonework, mellow timbers and antique furnishings and evokes the charm and ambience of the heritage era.
Perfect for a couple, the romantic bedroom features a queen bed adorned in silk brocade. The bathroom includes antique fittings,fluffy towels,bath,shower and well-equipped laundry cupboard.
The living room includes a crackling log fire and the cottage has underfloor heating throughout. The fully-equipped kitchenette includes generous breakfast provisions to enjoy in your private courtyard.

This is the best cottage that we've ever stayed in the whole trip of Tasmanaia. Thank you for giving us this unforgetable experince.

Acton Park is situated between Hobart and the airport, conveniently located for tourists flying in or out of Hobart. It is about 15 minutes drive from the CBD.

Acton Cottage overlooks Seven Mile Beach and is conveniently located for touring Port Arthur, Richmond Village, the Coal Valley wine region and most of southern Tasmania's tourist attractions.

For the golf enthuiests there are three golf courses within 10 minutes drive.

Property

Acton Estate is one of Tasmania's oldest historic properties. It was established as a farming property c1830 by William Rumney who emagrated from England with his young family, The convict built Georgian homestead and it's two cottages are now surrounded with gardens on 15 acres of parkland .

If you are seeking peace and tranquility then Acton Cottage will be ideal. Relax in your own courtyard and take in the picturesque views overlooking the lake to the sparkling waters of Seven Mile Beach beyond.
