Guest reviews shown on TakeABreak property listings are as genuine as we can make them. We believe a range of views from real people can help you to decide the right accommodation for your holiday. However, do please remember that guest reviews are subjective opinions (not the opinion of TakeABreak) and that different people will have different views. If you see a negative review we recommend you look at the reasons given to decide if they apply to you or not.

Measures we take to ensure that the guest reviews you see are genuine include:

• Only guests who booked through TakeABreak can post reviews.
• We have mechanisms in place to prevent or remove guest reviews written by accommodation operators or their friends.
• Negative reviews are not removed except if the accommodation operator can demonstrate to our satisfaction that the comment is factually incorrect.
• Multiple genuine negative reviews sometimes result in removal of the property listing which is why they are rarely seen.
